I'm back!...with a review!

I was sent some Revlon lashes from the company to review. All of the lashes I received were all very natural looking and could be work on an every day basis for those who have shorter and thinner lashes (like me! lol). The great thing about them was the fact that there was no glue to fuss about. For myself and others I know, the glue always seems to be a messy deal. It would usually take me a while to get my lashes on when i'd prepare to do performances and such with my dance group and that would be mainly because of the messy glue! Luckily with these Revlon lashes, they come with a strip of glue attached to the lashes so all you have to do is apply and you're good to go!

Sorry for the poor camera quality!! These lashes are readily available at any drugstore.The lasting power of the glue adhesive is awesome. I went through long hours wearing them and they stayed put. Each pack does come with a back up of an extra glue adhesive band which I think is such a genius idea.Switching the glue adhesive is fool proof and I had no problems in doing it. However, if needed the pack does come with thorough instructions as to how to apply the lashes and glue. Another great thing about these lashes in particular is the fact that I felt no need to apply eye liner. These lashes double as top eyeliner for me which is a great time saver. Usually when I apply falsies I feel like they weigh me down and feel heavy, but with these maybe because they are incredibly natural..but I throughout the day I actually forgot I was wearing them! Which is awesome and great for everyday! The only negative thing I'd have to say about the lashes is that they are slightly more costly than regular falsies. The last time I checked they were selling for 5+ at my closest drugstore, but considering the ease of use the cost isn't so bad at all. Overall these lashes have long lasting glue adhesive (considering no actual glue is required), no messy glue, affordable and easy to find, easy to apply, great time saver and for those on the go

We all know i love clinique, and who doesn't like GWP's! lol since i don't go to the mall as much where my friend works at clinique, i haven't been hauling as much from there haha but if there is one thing that'll always work for me its the dramatically different gel. i've been using this stuff since high school and its never failed. i am sure there are other moisturizers out there, but after the ones ive tried, i always find myself going back to this one. i always make sure my moisturizer is oil free/gel based for my skin type. i alsoo love the moisture surge, but its just a bit pricey. good thing is that we get a pretty decent sized sample of the moisture surge, so i'll be using it sparingly. In the day time i use cetaphils oil free moisturizer with SPF...its okayy, i feel that it leaves me feeling a bit oily and greasy, definitely not something i can wear on its own without power. but i do use it in the day time since i have it lol.

lol i definitely needed a new bottle!

I can't get the blushcreme to work for me...i tried using it with my SS188, and it didnt work out at all :( if anyone has any suggestions pls let me know :)

I gave my mom the dramatically different lotion since i only use the gel based one, and i also gave her the youthsurge moisturizer. not too sure about the lippie, havent exactly opened it, from what i saw it looked a bit too dark for my skin tone....the mascara is great for my makeup bag, not as much volume for my lashes, but it does the job!

The makeup solvent is decent, i still have a bottle from another GWP i got a few months ago that I am still using, i mean its not the greatest...definitely doesn't beat MACs cleanse off oil lol but since i have so much of this makeup solvent i use it! haha

I got a bunch of samples of the turnaround concentrate....i used to use it sooo much a few years back & just got back into using it again since I have so many samples :)

One down side with the GWP is it didn't come with a makeup bag this time, only a box...not that i really need anymore makeup bags...lol but they're always nice to have!

My new miracle worker!

Okay, so when i get those big juicy, ugly pimples lol i turn to queen helene asap! i use it as a spot treatment at night as well. and i thought THAT cleared big pimples quick...i was totally wrong. when i tried this:

....everything changed haha, i applied it for a few hours during the day and again before bed, literally the next morning the pimple was almost gone, and mind u this was such a HUGE ONE! lol soo crazy, i was so happy with it! i'm not a fan of pro activ, for my skin i think its a bit too harse, but I gave the refining mask a try because I got it for free from the kind worker lol i am yet to use it on my entire face because im scared lol but i am sure it'll be fine, i'll probably use it tonight actually as an actually mask and see how it goes. it has similar ingredients as queen helene and is also sulfer based. Will give an update once i've had a few tries of the actual mask.

If you've tried this or any other proactiv products let me know how it worked for you :)

Volcanic Ash Exfoliator and Thermal Mask Review & my surprise

Okay, so after a few weeks of trying both i think i can give an honest opinion on them. Both products have been sold out at every mac counter i checked, so here is what I personally think....

Volcanic Ash Exfoliator

Pros:
-Made my skin incredibly soft!
-Great packaging

Cons:
-Definitely do not like the smell :( even after several uses, it just doesnt work out for me lol
-not sure if this is by coincidence, but EVERY time i've used it, it caused a breakout. i've used it more than 5 times, and each time....a new mini breakout.
-limited edition
-somewhat expensive for an exfoliator
-veryyy messy around the sink

Overall, im not in love with this exfoliator, i'd prefer my clinique exfoliator over this one, and it smells a lot better! i didnt think this would have caused breakouts, but again each time i used it the next morning i saw a breakout. so weird!! i really wanted to love this product, but i dont think its working out for me right now. i have one and one backup, i think im going to return the backup and just keep the one to try in the future, maybe my skin will like it later haha but for now, its going under my sink back into the box.

-Not hard to remove....unlike the queen hele mask (which i love) but is so hard to remove cuz it gets soo hard
-Waming effect...gives u like a spa like experience
-Not overly drying
-Feel like my skin looks more radiant the next morning

Cons:
-Price
-Messy
-Limited edition

I loveeee this product soo much. again i have one product and one back up and im definitely keeping both. I just love how my face looks and feels after its use.

So thats my two cents let me know what you thought about any of these products :)

My boyfriend surprised me with THIS HUGE PRESENT! omg! i was soooo happy and so thankful he got this for me! I cant wait to try it :) im sooo excited!

Just wanted to share the love on a cheap..amazing product i came across. If you are looking for volume...this post is for you :)

I read about this in GLOW magazine as being the best drugstore volumizing shampoo out there and when I saw it on sale for 2 for $5 I had to get it. It is the Herbal Essence Volumizing shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately they did not have anymore of the shampoo in stock so I opted for the conditioner. Style Black Volcanic Ash Exfoliator & Thermal Heat Mask

After a longggg awaited time....I FINALLY get to try these :)

I got them at our Pro store here since they always release collections early...my bf surprised me with the mask yesterday and got me the exfoliator today & i got a back up just cuz :)...the MUA told me the thermal mask has already been sold out at their location! crazy! i could only imagine when the collection actually releases tomorrow...makes me want to get a back up of that too! haha she told me she stocked up and got 3 of each!

Real quickly, I tried the thermal mask last night and it was a lot more pleasant than I expected. Felt a little weird when it really did heat up but so far so good....going to try the infamous exfoliator tonight, after hearing soooo many good things about it. im excited!!!

MAC MOISTURE TINT REVIEW

Hey everyone!

As you all know a few weeks ago my boyfriend got me the moisture tint. I've given it a few weeks until I wrote this review so I get a good idea to how much I really like this product so heres my two cents :)

What they say:

A light, tinted moisturizer with SPF 15 and other skin-nourishing ingredients. An easy one-step finish specially suited for the season, this sheer tint provides just enough coverage to even out the skintone while creating a flawless protected, softly moisturized finish. Suitable for all skintones.

My Opinion =) :

I've been using this almost everyday unless i don't wear anything at all. when im in a rush i use my fingers to blend, if i've got a bit of time i use my Sigma SS190 which works great with this product! Then I use MAC's studio sculpt concealer for my undereyes and on the days where my skin doesnt want to co operate i use a big of my studio sculpt foundation on small blemishes with my MAC 109 brush. To set I use my SS150 brush and my mineralized skin finish natural and thats it :) its super fast and works well enough to make my skin look healthy. I like the idea of not putting heavy foundation during hot summer days which im sure everyone can agree, so this has been my everyday foundation routine for the past few weeks and has been working great. The second day i used the TM we sat on a patio all night and it was super humid. looking back at my pictures i noticed my face was super oily so i was a bit concerned it was the TM. But when i continued to try it out it wasnt so bad, so i guess that night was just because of the humidity. Other than that day to day its been prettty good at holding up with oil control, but im still on the look out for some type of matte primer or foundation...if anyone has any recs let me know :)

Pros:
Lightweight, enough for an everyday on-the-go type
blends soosoo well!
great packaging
has an spf of 15
no breakouts! lol

Cons:
Could be too little coverage for the bad days :P

This is definitely my daily go to product, makes everything so much easier in the morning to get ready :) Hopefully this product works for you too!

MAC + SIGMA HAUL + SUMMMMATIMEEE!

I'm Back! finish my spring/summer semester @ school and officially back to working FT at the office. So much stuff I havent been able to update on and its too much for just one post so it'll be over the next few :) I'm so excited to be back and reading/writing blogs again! it seemed like forever!

So where have I been?

...#1: studying!!
all day all night i've been up studying for my finals, working on assignments and everything in between! if you follow me on twitter thats all i've really been doing lately! Sososo happy i'm done....and my 4 week summer starts!

...#2: unpack & building!!
since the move we're still not full settled in. i've still got a few boxes around that havent been unpacked. when im not studying or working i try to do as much i can to get settled in. my bfs been really good at helping me and building things for my room lol i'm not much use when it comes to tools but i try ;) lol

...#3: Downtown Toronto on campus

This is where I am almost everyday since my faculty is literally attached to Toronto's best mall ever ;) lol

lol looks sososo bad..but soso good! our appitizer before our patio dinner....this was the view from the patio over looking one of the best parts of Toronto:
Theres always some type of shindig going on...i usually get out of class at 930 so its nice to see downtown still lively and filled with people :)

I'M BACK!

I just got back from Cuba this past week & its been crazy since. Started a new set of summer courses and i'm moving this Friday and still have yet to pack lol....i've also been working 4-5 days a week since i got back so its crazy...gotta pay those bills! haha

This was the look i did for the reception...very simple. didnt have much time to do my own makeup since i was helping my cousins my mom and my aunt and cuz it was too hot so i didnt wear much make up lol since it'll probably just sweat off. this was the only time during the whole trip i wore anything on my face! besides moisturizer and spf haha loll what a record!

Finally back home in his arms! sheesh it felt like forever. missed him soso much! this picture was taken at our anniversary dinner...i was tired after work a day after i arrived back.

I'm planning on doing a post on my travel makeup bag...i've already unpacked what i brought on my trip..but after the move i'll try to get everything i brought together and do a post =)

For the next 5 days my days will be working....going to class...studying for my test on Thursday and packing for the move on Friday. its gna be such a busy week...wish me luck!!!

What I cannot live without....right now :)

I decided to do a "what i can't live without right now" post since as im sure like many of you our faves change all the time! lol but heres a breakdown of what im currently using and what i <3>

1. Mineralized Foundation:
Since its spring almost summer i try to steer away from the heavy foundations. Lately i've been using my mineralized satinfinish foundation mixed with moisturizer to thin it out a bit. its been my daily use lately.... on my lazy days: i just moisturize my face then use mineralized skin finish natural when im not looking for that much coverage or just going out for a few hours....ORRR when im lazy heh

2. Soft and Gentle MSF
since my blush/bronzer changes daily or depending on my mood...regardless of which i use, i tend to use my soft and gentle MSF paired with whatever blush/bronzer im using. It gives such a pretty subtle glow I <33 3. Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara
theee best drug store brand mascara in my books :)

4. Carmex
i absolutely hateeee going out without this! i remember once i left it in my other purse and i was dyinggg without it! loll im thinking of getting some backups to keep around cuz its just that good! ...wouldnt hurt that its so cheap! lol

5. Loreal Lineur Intense eyeliner
this suff is awesome...no need to explain cuz im sure ya'll know! heh

6. bath & body works hand sanitizer
....or and hand sanitizer in general i hateee germs esp with swine and all eeks. everytime im out and i get a chance u can find me putting on sanitizer...for everyone from Toronto you know how they added those sanitizer dispencers outside of the stations at dundas and all around eatoln center...yup those r my best friends! heh since i get off at dundas to get to school u can always find me standing at one of those right when i get out ...foooor sure!

7. Concealor

lately ive been using my studio sculpt concealor + my BE concealor to set it. but any type of under eye concealor is a must for my every day....need to cover those dark circles :)

i knowww i've been so lacking on the posts and blog reading lately....back to spring/summer school its only been 2 weeks and i've already had 2 midterms its crazyyy! the good thing is i go on 2 Vacations in June....Houstan and Cubaaaa i cant waitt! I finally get to go to a target hahah after sooo long + hopefully a CCO somewhere! But i need to tame myself on the spending and pay my bills first. I officially skipped the rose romance collection...and im TRYINGG not to get anything from style warriors....although the cute packaging is def drawing me in!

Ok so i'm in desperate need of some opinions lol sooo theres this really awesome GWP at Sears [a dept. store in Canada] and you only have to spend $26.50 and this is what you get: Awesome right?!??! i want BOTH haha more of the LIP choice b/c the small lippie bag is so cute! So I used to be a die hard Clinique fan, when I had a friend who worked at the Clinique Counter I was totally hooked on it all. I have soooo many GWP's that I still haven't opened! loll but i wanttt this one. But not sure what's left for me to try! lol so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know :) otherwise I may have to pass on this fab GWP lol because I'm honestly stumped and have no idea what to get lol

BUT...lol i'm not sure if i should pass on this because I am on a budget and have been. As I mentioned in my previous post i need to start saving $$ and paying my bills before I buy anymore beauty products. I have the whole thought of yeah..they'll always be GWP's so i could skip on this one and another one will come. But i dont know haha im soo stuck! lol

Back for spring school!! wahh..

Yup, its Sunday. The last day of my 1 week vacay until spring school. So i did a bit of hauling during my last weekend off heres what i got:

And again, thanks to the BF [sheesh lol what'd i do without him] i didn't even notice this Urban Decay lip palette until he pointed it out! haha i must have been out of it i think i was tired by this time haha so I got this lip palette for only $8 as well! i couldnt believe it because i looked it up and it was selling for $29. so i def lucked out. I'm usually not big in lip palettes but w/e again i couldnt not get it cuz of the price...plus this one is cute and i can throw in my purse :P lol

So there goes my freedom week! lol back to having my nose in my txt books :S wahh. I think after this haul i'm going to have to take a 'no hauling' period and pay my bills first. Its just sooo hard when you're at the store haha i can't not buy things and i constantly convince myself i need it when i probably really dont. gahh so im def going to try a bit harder. espcially because i know the MAC warehouse sale is coming up and im trying hard to get tix :) but maybe being back @ school will make me haul less since i'll have less time to browse the malls! lol buttttt i am in need of a new moisturizer preferably one with SPF of at least 30 + a white one so i can mix it with my foundation so if you have any suggestions plsss let me know! i'm thinking the cediphil one with SPF 50 because i saw on a tv show it was reallly good, but the bottle is tiny for $15 so im nottt sure. anyways Hope you girls had a great weekend! it was beauttttiful outside!

Package + a new discovery lol + a tiny haul

Thank youuuuu Tina Marie for holding the giveaway + the samples that you added :) i loveeee em! you read my mind cuz i was just about to start my pigment collection so now i get to try some more first :) thankkk u thank u thank u! heh

So my new discovery:

YUP! i know im totally late! but i couldnt for the life of me find this stuff here in Toronto! Until i saw it at Sally's and was super excited! lol i just wish they had the tube one but oh well. This stuff works wonders. I put it on a new pimple that was forming and it def reduced the size of it within 2 days. I had it on every night for 4 nights and by then it was just a tiny tiny pimple. So im happy :)

And my tiny haul:
This was from a few weeks ago. After trying a bunch of Purity samples I decided to purchase a full size one. This bottle costs $26 yup, i know its def up there but i loveee this stuff. espcially because it removes make up :) + a got this tiny sample of Benefit's creaseless shawdow liner in R.S.V.P which i loveee. i've been using it for my lazy days at the office. its super easy just used my finger to apply :) woo hoo im on a roll, 2 posts in 2 days haha now thats a record for me lolll i'll def keep trying to post more often :)

OMG its the first week of May!

Wow! i can't believe how fast the month went by. This week was my week off since my winter semester ended. and now im back to school on Tuesday for the spring semester. wahh. I havent taken so many spring courses before and this time around im taking 4 so im a bit scared :S eeks. Anyways i've been doing some small hauling lately and heres 1 from over a month ago including my sugarsweeeet haul [ i know im terrible lol and havent been able to update a lot lately] :

and an update lol still working on depotting my 43 NYX e/s's gawwwd its taking forev loll almost have half of it done so hopefully after the weekend :) and i finally tried the leniage strawberry peel!! mmm! heh k til next time!

My NYX haul came in a few weeks ago :)

Such great prices, I don't think i'll be buying any more lippies for a while :P lol Since i'll be moving soon i still havent set up my lippies to be 'accessible' lol. and i'm in the process of depotting all 43 e/s's. the bf and i started one night and didnt get very far haha i'll probably spend an afternoon once my finals are done and get em done. Bought 2 empty 28 shawdow palettes to put them in...can't wait to have them depotted!

REVIEW: Lush Face Masks

Okay so I've purchased a LUSH fresh face mask over a month ago now and tried two different ones. I like the idea of them being so fresh and no preservatives, just makes my feel so much better that there so fresh :P the price of them around around $8.00 CDN which isn't horrible, just as long as you use it up before it expires. and you have to remember to refrigerate it.

the first one i tried is Cosmetic Warrior

as soon as i opened it, i didnt think i'd be able to put it on my face because of the strong smell, but I did and eventually just got used to the smell and it wasnt horrible. at times it really got to me, other times it actually smelt refreshing, like vegetables or something lol. I used this thing religiously every other night, and kept it on for about 10 minutes. by then it would be really hard and sorta gave me shivers when i washed it off cuz it was so hard lol maybe im jut weird but it just felt way to hard for my liking. loll

pros:
-made a noticeable difference to my skin, immediately felt soo much softer
-definitely helped with my blemishes and pimples, saw a difference within 2 uses
-no lingering smell
-helped remove excess oil without drying
-skin feels refreshed after taking the mask off

cons:
-overwhelming smell
-hardens within just 10 minutes
-has an expiry date

Repurchase?: Yes

Overall, if you can get over the smell, it can really help you out. I've had really tiny not so much pimples because they arent red, but just small bumps on my forehead, and i noticed a huge difference after a few uses of the mask, nothing i've ever tried took away those bad boys except for this. Once i stopped using it and tried cupcake they came back :( so i'll definitely be re purchasing this once my cupcake is done :)

just as cosmetic warrior as soon as i opened this the smell has definitely strong and dominate. Better than the cosmetic warrior smell, but almost too sweet. it definitely did smell like a cake batter but mixed with something else. I used this maybe only 3 times, i used it for the first time for about 10 minutes just as i did with my cosmetic warrior, but it was extremely hard to take off when i did and not to mention realllly messy in my sink and around my counter! so i tried it next for just 5 minutes and it was a bit easier, and the 3rd time i used it and took it off in the shower which i think is the best way with this one.

Pros:
-Definitely helped with my oiliness
-Also helped keep my skin smoother than usual
-Wasn't drying

Cons:
-Although the smell is better than the other mask its way to strong for me and unlike cosmetic warrior i couldnt get over the smell somehow.
-the smell lingers until the next day my bf even noticed :S [and didnt like it lol]
-kinda hurt my nose while it was on, i guess that could be a good thing because it was probably working at my blackheads lol but it stinged so much!
-A lot harder to take off for some reason, i had to really scrub and it made my skin super irritated and red :( (but my skin is sensitive) i think it may have been the peppermint oil that caused the irritation according to the SA
-Also a lot messier to use

Repurchase?: Surprisingly No :(

I think i after the crazy irritation i had im scared to keep trying it. my face was extremely red and irritated, but that could just be me and my sensitive skin. i actually wanted to LOVE this product, and thought i'd like it better than cosmetic warrior, but i guess not!!

So thats my 2 cents, have some hauls i wanna share but i cant find my usb cord to upload the pics :( lol thats what i get for being in the middle of moving loll

it's been SOOO long since my last post!! mainly because of school of course, and because i haven't been hauling since HK! trying to saveee for sugarsweet!!!! decided to skip the grand duos collection, they were too shimmery for my preference or for an everyday type thing. So i got a $50 gift card, well my bf has it but its for ME! haha obvi! not sure what to get! probably the smallest size of the philosophy purity cleanser. I loveeee that stuff sooo much!! had four samples that are just about used up, so I think im going to get the smallest size, it's pretty pricey for a face wash. So i'm planning on doing a short review on it, and on the latest fresh face mask i recently tried from LUSH. until then, wanted to share how my desktop looks! i changed my icons, they have a sanrio set i've only changed a few to the sanio ones, but obvi my fave is the HK one :) and the hula dancer! heh cuz im sad i stopped dancing :( thats all for now!!!

Random look + new hair do

I did a look a while back, my bf and i went out for dinner and didn't get a chance to take a picture of it except for this one:

I used the Damn Edna palette back from December '08. Nails are a bright pink color don't remember exactly which one but it's sephora brand, a small present i got from my bf. Anyways planning on going back to the gym on friday, have one more month on my membership so i'm trying my best to make use of it, planning on going 3 times a week, including yoga and maybe a bellydancing class :P so lets hope i stick to it!

On another note, I got my hair cut and colored on the weekend, a weee bit too short for my liking :( I was really sad because I want my long hair back....

So sad, she wasn't supposed to cut it that short :( ahhh don't know what i'm gna do. I hope my hair grows super fast! ps: don't mind the ugly pics lol i got my hair done after work so i was tired and sad lol....yup, back to studying...ethics exam on thursday :( studying = story of my life! lol if anyone has any tips to make my hair grow faster plss let me know lolll

Clinique GWP

Soooo im back, finished my 4 exams, so im free for the week until next week! Clinique is having their GWP right now at The Bay so i decided to take advantage and get the moisture surge....decided to hold off on the rest since im tryinggggg to save up for MAC's sugar sweet collection, probably going to be my next biggest haul...hopefully i don't fall inlove with everything like i did with HK heh. Anyways I've been using the moisture surge for about 2 weeks now and its great, i use it at night and my skin is SO soft, its amazing. Probably the best moisturizer i've used so far!! Definitely get a sample at the Clinique counter if you can!

(got one for me and one for my mom, there was a choice of "warm" and "cool")

Since I have a friend at the Clinique counter I also got bigger than sample size of the All About Eyes Rich, its supposed to reduce the appearance of puffyness and darkness, and supposed to work as a base for eye make up as well, haven't noticed significant differences but will update if i do. I also got some samples of the turn around instant facial, still haven't tried it but i definitely will!

On a side note, I don't think i mentionted that my HK balloon had flew away from my bf who was holding it on the day of the opening of it haha so we went back to get another one, but 2 weeks after this is what we see:

haha so so sad :( poor HK! And shes still not deflated lol the one in my room right now is slowing getting smaller!

My Two Cents: Studio Sculpt Foundation

So I've been using Studio sculpt for about a week now and it did break me out at first. But i'm not 100% sure its from it. So thats why i kept using it for a few more days just to see. The finish is a really healthy, dewy glow, i was skeptical at first that it would make my face shiny, but when i tried it it wasnt like that at all. It does make your skin look flawless! It looks great paired with fun & games HK beauty power blush for a natural glow. And so far no new break outs. I really wanted to keep it because of the consistency and texture of it. And it doesn't give a 'cakey' mask look. + when i found out it was gel based i REALLY wanted to keep it since all gel based products are recommended for combination to oily skin. I have a friend who works at the Clinique counter and she insists I stick with gel based products to help clear and prevent acne. So looks like I'll be keeping it not sure if it'll completely replace my mineralized satin finish or if it'll become my HG though :S.....

Pros:
Great Finish
Doubles as a concealer for covering blemishes and scars (when buffed on more)
Don't need much product
Gel based
Convenient tube

Cons:
Hard to blend if you don't do it right away
Could streak if not careful
Sometimes feels a bit sticky

FOTD: Mac too dolly look + Valentines Day + Mac Haul

Happy 2 day late valentines day!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed vday! I had work in the morning, then an audition for a feature film coming up that will be filming here. so didn't do much vday stuff until the evening. Soo after the audition I went over to MAC to pick up the studio scuplt foundation. The MUA and I were debating on NC 37 or NC 40. I usually use NC 40 with my mineralzed satin finish, but the studio scuplt is supposadly a tinsy bit darker. So I ended up with the NC 40 and seems to be working just fine. I was worried about the oilness effect i've been reading about and with my t zone being oily i was unsure. But i couldnt resist so I bought it anyway and also went back to pick up the too dolly HK palette, fun and games HK beauty powder blush, as well as the infamous 109 brush. And after checking out some of the moisturizers the MUA convinced me to get the stobe cream which I am inlove with, but i think im going to swap it for the stobe liquid so mixing it with my foundation will be easier. pics of the haul to follow.

So far i love the new studio sculpt, thinking of picking up the conceler tomorrow before work. anyways my bf and I went out for dinner and watched confessions of a shopacholic. which i absoutely loved!!! although my bf temporarily fell asleep for a minute or so hahaha but the movie reminded me not to buy things unless i absoutely neeeeed them, my whole theory was only buy if it if i LOVEEE it, and it isnt very hard for me to fall inlove with MAC products lol. Hey beauties,

I just started blogging and what a better first post to have than this one! (Still getting the hang of blogspot) Sooooo because I was unable to make it to the unveiling because of work, I went extra early to pick up my purchases. Just walking to the store I was super excited because of all the hype thats been going around. And it definitely lived up to its potential in my books. Okay enough ranting here's what I picked up:

Right when I walked in I noticed they were giving the cutest HK tote bags with every MAC purchase, and luckily the MUA gave me two :)

So I went to class, super excited to look at all my HK stuff, and get home a few hours after, only to find a package waiting for me!!!!! EEEEE!! it was my coastal scents package. I couldn't not get the 88 shadow palette as well as the contouring palette.....and a few brushes and gel eye liners. I guess you could say I had a great day today with all this!!!! Still waiting on a package from cherry culture from their 20% off sale. On a side note, they usually don't sell NYX here in Toronto, or at least I haven't been able to find any....until yesterday I randomly saw it at my local drugstore! They didn't have much, and was disappointed to see they didn't have any of the lippies :(

Anyways thats it today, for my first post ever! Any tips on anything else great im missing out on for HK??? ANDDDDD anyoneee know a good trick in getting the awful smell out of the coastal scent brushes :S ....I washed it 3 times with different brush cleaner and soaps, and nothing works!
